You can find Oia on the Northern part of the caldera ,about 12 km away from Fira .The best way to explore around is on foot,since almost all of its alleys are paved. Hundreds of people gather every day to watch the sun setting above the Aegean Sea and capture the most beautiful sunset they have ever seen. You will soon realize that it is like it came out of a postcard.Oia is certainly the most picturesque village in Santorini -and some may claim that it is the most beautiful .
Last but definitely not least we have Imerovigli Village…
Imerovigli is situated at the center west part of Santorini, only 3.5 km away from the center of Fira.In fact, the name of Imerovigli comes from the word vigla which actually means “viewpoint”, since during the ancient times, this location allowed locals to see the pirate ships approaching.Imerovigli is among the best places for a stay and it is considered to be a relaxing location with a romantic atmosphere.
